The Mayor of Oswestry cllr Rosie Radford warmly invites people to a Celebration of Community Service at St Oswald’s Church, Church Street, Oswestry, on Sunday 15 February 2026 at 3pm.
This special event will honour the immense value and diverse skills that volunteering brings to the Oswestry community. The Mayor would be delighted if you could join her for the service and to hear from speakers representing Oswestry & Borders Foodbank, Connect for Life, Oswestry Community Action, and the Soma Space (Movement for Mental Health).
The Mayor said: “Please join me to celebrate people and services that are essential in keeping our community going. It’s also an opportunity for me to thank those groups and a learning opportunity for us all. I hope to see you there.”
Following the service, there will be tea and cake, and an opportunity to explore the community space where local volunteers will showcase information about their organisations.
