On 12th May two local men will be setting off on a road trip with a difference to raise monies for seriously ill local children and their families.  Brothers, Jack and Liam Roberts, have signed up this year’s British Bangers challenge and will be driving from England to Benidorm in an old Ford Mondeo.

The challenge will involve 5 days of travelling, seeing them make their way through France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.  Once they reach Monaco, they will travel the coast down to Benidorm.  During the 5 days there will be daily challenges, some memorable sites and lots of new experiences.

Jack and Liam are funding the challenge themselves and have chosen to raise monies for Hope House Children’s Hospices at the same time.

“We are very much looking forward to the challenge” said Jack “Both our families have received support from Hope House in the past and we would like to give something back to say thank you”

“Sadly every week, three local families face their biggest fear and their child dies.  Hope House Children’s Hospices cannot stop children dying but we can stop families suffering on their own” said Lynsey Kilvert Hope House Fundraiser,

“When families are facing the most devastating loss of their lives Hope House must be there to support every child, mum, dad, sister and brother who needs us. To do this we need to raise more monies and thanks to amazing supporters in our community like Jack and Liam, we aim to do this”
