An awards event was held in Scholars Restaurant, North Shropshire College to celebrate the successful completion of the January intake of Access to HE (Health) students. The group has had a very successful year with all students expecting to progress to their chosen Degree course in Nursing, Social Work and Midwifery.
Students have completed modules in Health Studies, Psychology, Sociology and Biology. Lianne Manuel, a completing student said that the course had given her a real insight into study after a long break from education. ‘I have made many friends and have gained a lot of self-belief’.
