Aico are proud to be recognised as a Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith Business Champion, understanding that without business support, Hope House would not be able to continue their vital work.
In January, Aico were delighted to welcome Hope House and Tŷ Gobaiths Fundraising Team Leader, Lynsey Kilvert and Chief Executive, Andy Goldsmith to their headquarters to present to all colleagues on the charity’s latest activities and how vital the corporate support from companies like Aico is. Aico colleagues received a presentation on how the charity navigated through the pandemic, hearing how the local community pulled together to support this vital cause.
Lynsey and Andy also joined Aico’s Community Liaison, Jane Pritchard for a recording session for Aico TV, Aico’s online series. The recording will air in February and will feature a sit-down discussion on what the charity do, their experiences during the pandemic and how members of the public can get show their support.
Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith’s Fundraising Team Leader, Lynsey Kilvert added “Andy and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time at Aico being interviewed for Aico TV and being able to talk to the employees. Aico have been incredible supporters of Hope House and Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospices since 2000 and are hugely important to us. Without the support of local businesses like Aico, we simply would not exist and would not be there for local seriously ill children and families.”
Aico’s Community Liaison Jane Pritchard commented “We were delighted to welcome Andy and Lynsey to Aico, giving up their valuable time to talk to our colleagues. As ongoing supporters of Hope House, it is important for all colleagues at Aico to understand what the charity do, the vital services they provide and particularly the impact Covid has had with regards to fundraising over the past two years. We look forward to giving our continued support in helping them carry out the amazing work they do to help children and their families.”.
