The Trustees of the Eure and Smale Charity supported by Oswestry Town Council are advertising a vacancy at 10 Smales Cottages off Arundel Road in Oswestry.
The cottage is one of 10 one-bedroom almshouses which are suitable for single residents. Accommodation comprises a small living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with shower, and small garden. The cottage is unfurnished and residents have access to a communal washing machine. The weekly management charge is £113.
To live at the almshouse cottage, applicants must meet the charity’s objectives to house “needy persons” of good character who have lived in the town of Oswestry for not less than one year before applying.
The closing date for applications is 28 March 2025.
