Art world coming back to Oswestry

Now allowed to re-open, the gallery has a one-way system in place, and visitors are asked to maintain a 2-metre distance from each other. Opening hours initially will be 10am-2pm Wed-Sat and, over July and August, the Shropshire Guild of Contemporary Crafts will be exhibiting a wide assortment of beautifully-made crafts, both contemporary and traditional, and from the endearingly quirky to the genuinely breathtaking.

Online (www.willowgalleryoswestry.org), a virtual art gallery has been created specifically for lockdown, and there’s an online shop. The gallery’s creative workshops and courses must for the time being remain suspended, and we hope to reschedule as soon as the rules allow. It is of course likely that our live music scene will remain on hold for some time. Please see our website and other social media channels for regular updates.
