Border Counties School of Gymnastics excited about re-opening their doors
Border Counties Gymnastics are now in their 30th year and excited about re-opening their doors on 12th April to new and existing members of all ages from babies to adults.
Katy Evans from Border Counties Gymnastics said: "As a close knit, friendly team of staff we are enthusiastic and passionate about providing gymnastics sessions that are fun, inclusive and safe for all abilities to enjoy. We offer a range of classes from Fun4Baby through preschool and into recreational for all ages. We also have trampolining classes, ASK sessions, boys only classes, Teens, Improvers classes, display squad and also competition squads there is so much choice there will be class for everybody!"
"All the classes are run by fully qualified, first aid trained, and DBS checked coaches who love to share their knowledge and experience of gymnastics. Throughout the year there is lots to get involved in and our gymnasts get to supplement their weekly classes with the chance to work on proficiency badges, take part in internal club competitions, holiday gymnastics sessions and summer displays."
"Gymnastics is a sport that encompasses strength and power while also being elegant and creative. It is a good foundation for all sports as it teaches balance, coordination, discipline and strength while also being a fun and sociable activity to do. There is also a high amount of confidence and self belief developed through working towards and achieving new skills which is highly rewarding and beneficial for not only for our gymnasts but also our coaches too. There are chances for our gymnasts to work on their own skills individually but also in groups and teams where new friends are made and friendships last longer than the class."
"It is an amazing place to be where smiles and achievement create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all to thrive."
