Borderland Rotary has again stepped up to support Dave Andrews with his latest work, a charming book called, Old Oswestry and other sonnets.
Within the pages he explores local and personal themes about Oswestry and about life itself. Dave said, “Whilst it is obviously a joyful creative challenge to produce a book in this literary form it is also quite a task to raise the funds to get it published and I am very grateful to all who’ve supported me, especially the Rotary, the Three Parishes Big Local and National Lottery. It means that all the proceeds from the sale of book can go to Lingen Davies Cancer Fund and Cancer research UK.”
The book is available from Oswestry Library and local book shops – and don’t forget, all the money goes to extremely worthwhile charities.
