It was all smiles at Borderland Rotary’s first ‘Live’ meeting in over a year and Zoom President, Brian Aston’s first and last chance to officiate as he immediately handed the reigns over to the incoming President, Cathy Osselton.
Cathy said how much she appreciated all the sterling work Brian had done keeping the club together throughout this difficult time and Brian replied, ‘The challenges have been so very different from what I anticipated and the steep learning curve in technology certainly kept me busy and alert.’ Cathy announced a return to a full schedule of events and activities planned for the coming year with the regulars, the Fireworks, the Christmas Parade and the Borderland Mountain bike Challenge back on the calendar.
