This June, Borderland Visual Arts (BVA) invites you to explore a wealth of local creative talent through its Open Studios Art Trail 2026.

Taking place over two weekends—13th & 14th June and 20th & 21st June, from 10am to 5pm—32 artists will open their studio doors. Some artists work individually, while others are grouped in shared studio spaces, offering a welcoming and varied experience for visitors.

Representing disciplines including painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, jewellery and mixed media, the standard of work is exceptionally high. Many artists will also be demonstrating their techniques, giving a unique insight into their creative processes.

Studios are located within a 12-mile radius of Oswestry, including Oswestry’s own studios. Look out for red balloons and signage to guide you!

A great place to start is the Willow Gallery in Oswestry, where the Open Studios Exhibition offers a snapshot of the artists’ work. You can also pick up a brochure with an interactive map here, as well as from locations across the town.
