As 2026 begins, Monks is delighted to announce two internal promotions at its Oswestry branch, celebrating the growth and success of two local young professionals.

Ethan Lee-Birch joined the Monks team almost three years ago, bringing with him valuable local property knowledge gained through an estate agency apprenticeship. From the outset, Ethan’s enthusiasm for the property market was clear. Beginning his career as a Sales and Lettings Negotiator, he quickly undertook professional qualifications with Propertymark, the company’s governing body, fully embracing the learning and development opportunities available to him.

Driven by determination and a strong work ethic, Ethan went on to complete his Valuer training, and Monks is thrilled to announce his promotion to Residential Valuer/Negotiator. A well-known local young man with excellent knowledge of Oswestry and the surrounding areas, Ethan is ideally placed to support buyers and sellers through their next move, backed by a strong and experienced local team.

Monks is equally proud to celebrate the promotion of Millie Birch. This time last year, the company became one of the first local agents to embrace the apprenticeship scheme specifically for Estate and Lettings Agents, with Millie joining as part of that initiative. Over the past 12 months, she has flourished, demonstrating genuine enthusiasm and commitment across both Sales and Lettings. Her development within the industry in such a short space of time has been remarkable.

A local young lady with strong knowledge of Oswestry and the surrounding area, Millie has now successfully completed her apprenticeship, and Monks is delighted to announce her appointment as Sales and Lettings Negotiator.

Business owners Judy and Patricia commented on how much they have enjoyed watching both Ethan and Millie develop, noting their genuine passion for the industry and the positive energy they bring to the team.
