Moreton Hall Chamber Choir have been invited to sing at a dazzling Carol service in the heart of London for a third time. They will appear alongside Dame Penelope Keith, Rupert Jones, Dervla Kirwan and Angela Thorne in an evening of spectacular music and drama.

The service, to be held in Chelsea’s Christ Church on Tuesday December 3rd is a special event organised to raise money for the charity F.A.I.R (Funding Auto-Immune Research). It was set up three years ago by Grainne Dennison in order to fund research into the ever-increasing number of auto-immune diseases, from Multiple Sclerosis to Alopecia and Arthritis which affect so many people today.

“It’s a beautiful service, attending by people from across the country (including the Chelsea Pensioners)” explained Grainne. “One of the reasons it works is that our readers are highly trained stars of the stage. But the Moreton Hall Chamber Choir are the stars. They brought tears to the eyes of our congregation last year. And what a fabulous opportunity to sing alongside actors from Downton Abbey and To The Manor Born.”

Tickets are still available for this event. They cost £25 and include a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie and are available from dennisonsmga@gmail.com
