A service team with a wealth of motor industry experience is working together at award-winning Arthurs Vauxhall for the first time.

The service department at the Arthurs of Oswestry dealership now comprises new

Service Manager Claire Stanton, Senior Service Adviser Lee Kilbride and Service Adviser Craig Southern.

Between them Claire, Lee and Craig have 27 years’ experience in the motor industry – the majority of which has been spent with Arthurs Vauxhall at either their Oswestry or Newtown branches.

Claire, 44, is the longest serving of the trio having completed 15 years in the industry, most of which has been predominantly with Arthurs where she is in her third spell.

She started in customer service and marketing at the Oswestry branch in 2003 and moved into the service department in 2007.

“It is nice that customers still remember me from my previous role and clearly evident that loyalty is still very strong,” said Claire.

“I am seeing customers I first dealt with when I moved into the department in 2007 which is most gratifying.”

Claire said she was ‘thrilled’ that Arthurs had been awarded the highly coveted Vauxhall Customer Excellence Award for delivering ‘exceptional’ customer satisfaction both by its aftersales and sales departments.

“This is the sixth year in a row that Arthurs has received this award which is recognition of the overall service we provide, showing we genuinely care about our customers,” she added.

Claire’s ‘right hand men’ are Lee, 33, and Craig, 29, whom she says gives the department ‘strength in depth.’

“I am fortunate to be heading up a strong team offering me great support in my new role in Oswestry,” said Claire who has moved back to the dealership from Arthurs of Newtown where she held a similar position.

Lee, who like Claire lives in Llanymynech, also recently returned to the Oswestry branch from Newtown.  He started as a service adviser with Arthurs of Oswestry in September 2007, moving to Newtown in September 2009.

Craig, who lives in Oswestry, is the most recent addition to the team having joined Arthurs in July 2016.  He hasn’t worked for Arthurs anywhere but in Oswestry.
