Do you work from home or run a small business? Homeworking Hangouts Oswestry is a new networking and support opportunity.
Two small business owners Gayle Hudson who runs a coaching and consultancy business and Ruth Martin from Martin and Jones Marketing are behind the initiative.
“We know what it’s like to work from home and run a small business” says Gayle, “It can be lonely and you miss the office interaction that often sparks creativity and ideas”
“It’s really great to get out the house, have an alternative place to work, where you can also meet other like minded people” Adds Ruth.
Many bigger towns and cities have set up Creative Hubs and co-working spaces for homeworkers and small businesses to come together. This is Oswestry’s answer to that.
The pair have teamed up with The Cemist, who are providing their large upstairs meeting room, and plan to run a Homeworking Hangouts session the last Wednesday of every month.
“It’s completely free, bring your laptop, settle down and do a bit of work, meet others and make valuable connections”
The first Homeworking Hangout will be held at the Cemist on Wednesday 26 June 9.30-12.30
All local homeworkers and small businesses welcome.
