Students from Oswestry’s Marches School are celebrating today following a strong set of well-deserved exam outcomes.
A spokesperson for the school said: “The students have shown incredible resilience all year with staff and students working as a team, showing great care for each other over the last two years.
We thank all our parents, carers and families and the community for their role in supporting our young people.
We are welcoming many students back into our Sixth Form for both A level and BTEC courses and are looking forward to what the next two years will bring. We wish the very best to our students entering the world of work and apprenticeships and to those starting courses at local colleges.”
Headteacher of The Marches School, Alison Pearson added: “Our Year 11 students really are a credit to our school and the community. They have worked hard with our specialist teams and today reap the benefit of their determination to succeed. We are pleased to have supported these students over their 5 years at the school and look forward to working with many of them as they join our Sixth Form.”
Applications for The Marches Sixth Form are still open for a September 2021 start for students who would still like to learn more, the school are available and can be contacted through marchesadmin@mar.mmat.co.uk with further details on the school website marchesschool.co.uk
