Crafty Knitters Support Veterans Hub with Handmade Poppies

Oswestry’s Crafty Knitters group has once again shown their community spirit and creativity.

After being approached by the Veterans Hub at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital (RJAH), the group took on the challenge of contributing to a VJ Day memorial display. In true Crafty Knitters style, they went above and beyond — producing an impressive 190 hand-knitted poppies along with a large poppy wreath for the display.

This project is one of many initiatives the group has embraced to make a positive impact within the community.
