Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is inviting supporters to get into the festive spirit at its popular Christmas wreath-making workshops, taking place at the charity’s Cosford airbase and Headquarters in Shifnal.

Dedicated charity volunteer, Ros Anwyl, will once again be leading the sessions, helping attendees craft their own beautiful wreaths to display in their homes throughout the Christmas period.

The workshops will take place on Friday 28th November at 6.30pm and Saturday 29th November at 10.00am, with each two-hour session offering the perfect opportunity to embrace the joy of Christmas while raising vital funds for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s lifesaving missions.

All materials, including wreath rings, foliage, wires and ribbons will be provided by the florist. Participants are encouraged to bring their own secateurs and personal decorations to give their wreaths a unique touch. Festive refreshments will also be available, and guests are  encouraged  to wear their favourite Christmas jumpers to add to the seasonal cheer.

Each workshop costs £30 per person, with every booking helping to fund future emergency pre-hospital missions carried out by the charity’s advanced clinical team across the Midlands. .

Jo Bailey, group events lead for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “Our wreath-making workshops are a wonderful way to kick-start the festive season. Whether you’re a  regular crafter or a complete beginner, everyone leaves with something beautiful to take home, as well as the satisfaction of supporting our lifesaving work.”
