Clipz & Bitz Embroidery is run by Jade, who recently moved to Oswestry from Essex with her husband and their two children, Hartley and Dinky. She founded the business shortly after Hartley was born, beginning with handmade dummy clips before the venture naturally evolved into a specialist embroidery service.

“It just grew with me,” Jade explains. “Now I focus mainly on embroidered workwear and school uniform, but I still love creating all sorts of personalised items.”

Over six years, Clipz & Bitz has expanded to offer a wide range of bespoke products — from cake toppers to printed clothing and cups. With no minimum order requirements, Jade welcomes all customers, whether they need a single embroidered jumper or personalised items for an entire team. “There’s very little I can’t do,” she says. “My favourite part is turning someone’s idea into something real.”

Since settling in Oswestry, Jade has found the community incredibly supportive. Customers often contact her through WhatsApp, knock on her door after finding her online, or stop by her market stall to chat about their vision.

Many come to her when online orders fall through or when they need last-minute items, something larger embroidery companies rarely accommodate. She often helps parents who buy uniform and tradespeople who prefer their own workwear. “I’ll always consider embroidering customers’ items,” Jade says, “as long as the quality is suitable.”

Jade works from Crafty Creations in Oswestry Indoor Market every Wednesday, where a recent revamp now allows her to offer same-day personalisation. Shoppers can buy items from around town and bring them straight to her for embroidery.

“The local support has been amazing, I’m now an authorised supplier of the Mustang Explorers merchandise, as well as teamwear for Oswestry Otters and have been working with Holy Trinity to kit out their entire staffing team with branded coats and uniform.”
