Face2Face Performance Academy in Shropshire is inviting talented young performers to take centre stage during an audition event next month, as part of their scholarship selection process.

Students aged between the ages of 9 and 18 with a passion and enthusiasm for performing are encouraged to participate in what is predicted to attract strong competition, with a number of sought after scholarships on offer.

Face2Face Performance Academy, which opened in January 2017, currently has over 40 members and operates weekly evening classes during term time providing expert tuition in dancing, singing and acting, whilst developing individual’s confidence and promoting fun.

The prestigious performance academy boasts an excellent industry professional faculty and provides termly opportunities to perform and meet inspiring, leading performing artists.

Last term students were involved in The Greatest Showman workshop attended by visiting West End performer, CiCi Howells who offered performance advice and conducted the choreography. Students enjoyed creating props, learning choreography, staging scenes and vocalizing the chosen songs.

Michael Jenkins, teacher of drama and academy co-ordinator, said, ‘Face2Face Performance Academy is going from strength to strength. We are delighted to be able to offer scholarships to young people in Shropshire and neighboring counties to help support creative individuals and making the arts more accessible to all. Children of all abilities are welcome to attend.’
