The Oteley Estate in Ellesmere has two dates remaining for their local market and open gardens this year. The final 2021 dates are Saturday, September 11 and Saturday, October 9.

The market is free to attend and will be held in their original stable yard. Local businesses from within a 30-mile radius will be selling local food, drink, crafts, jewellery, and fashion.

Clare Mainwaring from the family team said, “We are big advocates of supporting local businesses, with many of our exhibitors’ products being made or produced here in Shropshire – just like our home-grown meat boxes that will also be available to buy at the market.”

Tickets are available to explore the 10 acres of garden. Visitors can search out a boathouse, walled garden, tower, swiss cottage and the spectacular view across the mere.

The gardens and market will be open from 10am until 5pm, with last entry at 3pm. The market is free to attend. Tickets to view the gardens are £5 for adults and children go free. There is plenty of parking on site and dogs on leads are welcome. Tickets can be purchased on the gate or in advance from www.oteley.com/our-events.
