First 2 Act Ltd, a first aid training business run by NUCO-qualified instructor and Registered Nurse Chrissie Hinton, is offering an Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course in the Oswestry area on Tuesday 24th February 2026.

Designed to meet the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982, this one-day course provides participants with the essential skills to act in emergency situations in the workplace. The course includes practical training in CPR and the safe use of a defibrillator.

The full-day course will run from 09:00 to 16:00 and costs £75 per person, which includes an e-certificate valid for three years and a comprehensive course manual. The qualification is UK-regulated, awarded by First Aid Awards (FAA), regulated by Ofqual, and sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).

Founder and lead instructor Chrissie Hinton brings 19 years of nursing experience, including work in both NHS and private sectors, with extensive experience in Accident & Emergency nursing. Her practical experience in emergency situations enhances the learning experience for course participants. First 2 Act Ltd also holds a current enhanced DBS certificate, ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
