A MESSAGE FROM JIMMY – THANK YOU, OSWESTRY

Just a few weeks ago, I was writing to you about a vision, about turning the old Wilko’s building into something that could genuinely change how our town thinks about health, fitness and community. Today, I get to write to you with something even better.

We’re open.

And before I talk about anything else, I want to start by saying, thank you.

The support we’ve had from Oswestry since announcing The Evo Project has been overwhelming. Whether it’s a quick word in the street, a message on our social media or someone popping their head in to see how things are going, the excitement, goodwill and belief in what we’re building has been incredible.

I also want to give a huge thank you to the local tradespeople and businesses who helped bring this place to life in such a short space of time. Plumbers, electricians, builders, painters, gym equipment manufacturers, fitters – they have worked tirelessly over Christmas and new year to turn a completely empty unit into a fully functioning fitness facility. This really has been a community effort.

And now, it’s ready for you.

The Evo Project is officially open and the transformation of that old Wilko’s building into an 18,000-square-foot home for health and movement is something I’m incredibly proud of. The gym floor, group training studio and Oswestry’s first Reformer Pilates studio are all up and running, with people already training, learning and building new routines inside the space.

But what matters most to us isn’t the size of the building or the equipment inside it, it’s how it makes you feel when you walk through the door.

I’ve always believed that a gym should be somewhere you feel welcome, not judged. Somewhere you feel supported, not intimidated. Whether you’re 14 or 84, brand new or highly experienced, this place was built for you. We’ve designed Evo to be somewhere people can come to get stronger, healthier and more confident, but also somewhere they can belong.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll also be opening our recovery suite with ice baths, red-light therapy and a sauna, along with our on-site café and meal prep service, making Evo a place to train, recover, relax and connect all in one.

But right now, what I really want is for you to come and see it for yourself.

So, for February, we’re running a simple offer for the people of Oswestry:
a FREE Day Pass for everyone.

Scan the QR code at the bottom of this article and use code oslife for a free day pass. Or cut out the coupon from the February issue of the Oswestry Life magazine (distributed from 28th January).

No catches. No pressure. Just an open invitation to walk through the doors, use the gym, look around, meet the team and experience what we’ve created. Whether you come on your own, with a friend or with family, you’ll be made to feel welcome.

The Evo Project exists because of this town, and now it belongs to it. I can’t wait to welcome you in.
