Oswestry Charity Qube has teamed up with Taking Part and Shropshire Council to create imaginative, fun and creative activities for people to do at home.
The resources have been made designed especially for the ‘Good things to do at home’ project by creative practitioners from across the country and are sent out each month in ‘Happy Boxes’ to people who normally attend Day Care Services but are unable to because of Coronavirus.
There has been a great response to the activities so far and Qube are hosting images of the work that has been produced on their website. www.qube-oca.org.uk
The free resources are also available for anyone to enjoy and download and new items will continue to be added each month.
New this week is an Animal Zentangle workshop by Alana Bullock and a tutorial on how to regrow left over vegetables by Sara Jolly
Chief Officer Laurel Roberts said ‘We are very proud to have been asked to deliver this project across the county and even more thrilled that it has been so well received by so many people. The Happy Boxes are perfectly named because they are bringing some welcome relief to members of the community who have been significantly isolated as a result of coronavirus.’
