High Sheriff of Shropshire pays visit to Oswestry Talking Newspaper

The High Sheriff of Shropshire recently made a special visit to the Oswestry Talking Newspaper to speak with volunteers.

Helen Sharman from the organisation said: “We were delighted to have a visit from the High Sheriff of Shropshire, The Honourable Mrs. Selina Graham.

“In her role as High Sheriff she visited groups of volunteers throughout the town to discover what they did and how they did it.   She gave us a few ideas on how we could possibly move our charity forward with new technology.

“As she was also visiting the Oswestry Town Council, Jay Moore, our current Mayor turned up to escort her to the Council Chamber.  A double whammy, we also enjoyed an impromptu visit from the Mayor.   Altogether a very successful day for Oswestry Talking Newspaper.”
