The Trust which runs Oswestry’s specialist orthopaedic hospital is looking for cleaning staff to join its award-winning team.

Cleanliness Technicians are a key part of the frontline workforce at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital and are instrumental in ensuring that the hospital is kept clean and safe for patients.

Sian Langford, Facilities Compliance Manager, said: “Our Cleanliness Technician team play a pivotal role, and throughout the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, they have gone above and beyond in helping to ensure our hospital is as clean as possible to reduce the risk for patients and staff.”

The team have been hailed by patients for two years running with wards and side rooms at the Oswestry-based hospital, being ranked the cleanest in the country in the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) Adult Inpatient Survey.

Sian added: “We are looking for dedicated, caring and flexible people to join the team and work across our wards and departments to provide a high-standard of cleanliness for our patients, staff and visitors and ensure that infection prevention cleaning standards are consistently met.”
