Emily Vaughan and Steve Drury will be running the London Marathon this April in memory of their mum’s Heather and Jackie for the MS Society and Asthma UK respectively.
Both are inspired by their amazing mum’s brave endeavours to defy letting their illness rule their lives. Emily and Steve have been training hard in all weathers in preparation for the 26.2miles and find strength in how their fundraising will help raise awareness and fund much needed research into MS and Asthma.
To coincide with Mother’s Day they are holding a Charity Race Night at Oswestry Cricket Club on Saturday 21st and would be very grateful of any race sponsorship from local businesses and donation of raffle prizes.
Emily and Steve would love to have as many family, friends and supporters at the Race Night to share their London Marathon journey and make it a night of celebration and tribute to Heather and Jackie.
