Supporters of Hope House Children’s Hospices embraced the spirit of La Dolce Vita and raised an incredible £31,466 at the charity’s annual summer ball.
Held in a stunning Italian-inspired Lion Quays near Oswestry, the glamorous evening brought together generous supporters of the charity for a night of fundraising and entertainment, all in support of local children with life-threatening conditions and their families.
Guests were transported to the heart of Italy as they enjoyed an evening of fine dining, live entertainment and fundraising activities.
The funds raised will help Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith children’s hospices to provide specialist care and support to hundreds of children and their families across Shropshire, Wales and Cheshire.
Fundraiser Vicky Bradbeer said: “We are absolutely delighted that this year’s La Dolce Vita Summer Ball raised an incredible £31,466 for the local children and families who rely on the support of Hope House Children’s Hospices.
“The evening was truly magical. From our guests, generous sponsors Select a Skip, GS & PA Reeves and Shropshire Welding, to everyone who donated prizes, bid in auctions and volunteered their time, every single person played a part in making the event such a success.
“The money raised will help us continue to provide vital care and support to those children and families that need it.
“I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all those who supported the ball and helped make such a fantastic evening.”
