A legal secretary from Weston Rhyn who took third female place in the Brynkinalt Trail 10k last weekend has announced she is now in training for the XTERRA Trail Run World Championships which this year are being held in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia).
Kerri Williams, who works in the Family department at GHP Legal in Oswestry, came ninth overall out of 128 runners who took part in the 10k race at the Brynkinalt Running Festival which was organised by Adrenalin Sporting Events. GHP Legal were one of the event’s sponsors.
Kerri, who has been running for around ten years and regularly races in trail and mountain events, qualified for the Snowdonia event last summer. Despite living close by, last weekend was the first time she had been on Brynkinalt Trail as it is on private land.
GHP Partner, Hywel Jones, who also a keen sportsman and runner, said:
“Congratulations to Kerri Williams who smashed the Brynkinalt 10k on 16th March, and also to James Denton, a solicitor in our civil litigation department, for conquering the hilly terrain of the Welshpool 10k last Sunday!
“We also have other members of staff taking part in running events during April, so good luck to them too.”
