Chris Woods of Lights Out Events has announced a strong start to 2026 with three standout folk concerts confirmed in Oswestry, featuring acclaimed artists from the UK folk and acoustic scene.
Following a successful year of live music, Lights Out Events is inviting audiences to begin the New Year with a varied and high-quality programme, hosted at well-loved local venues.
The season opens on Friday 20 March 2026 at Oswestry Cricket Club, with an evening performance from Sound of the Sirens, the popular acoustic duo known for their powerful harmonies and emotionally rich songwriting. Doors open at 7.15pm, with the concert starting at 8.00pm.
On Sunday 26 April 2026, internationally respected singer-songwriter Claude Bourbon brings his virtuosic guitar style to the intimate setting of Hermon Chapel, Chapel Street, Oswestry. The performance begins at 7.30pm, with doors open from 6.45pm.
The run continues on Sunday 31 May 2026, when celebrated folk artist Joe Topping takes to the stage at Oswestry Cricket Club. Known for his engaging live performances and exceptional musicianship, Topping promises an evening of contemporary folk at its finest.
