Park Hall Countryside Experience near Oswestry is pleased to re-open their indoor facilities to visitors from May 19. The local farm attraction will be reopening multiple indoor areas, which include their role-play village, play barn and Brickworks, as well as unveiling a brand new under 4’s sensory play area.
Visitors have been flocking to the farm to make the most of their open space since the outdoor areas were permitted to reopen in April.
Joint owner – director Richard Powell said, “Since our April reopening, the response from visitors has been amazing! We are lucky to have so much outdoor space here and plenty going on.
“Families love meeting the animals, exploring Burrow Land and riding on the barrel train. They have had fun watching the goats explore their new playground, which features a swing and a trampoline! We also have two adventure playgrounds – The Crazy Farm Adventure Course and our Woodland Adventure Play Area. They give kids the chance to scramble, climb or fly through the air on a zip wire!
“We will be open every day this half term, so be sure to secure your tickets by booking them in advance via our website.”
On June 26 and 27 Park Hall will celebrate their 21st birthday with some extra activities. Visitors can enjoy a children’s disco, party games with prizes for all and a quiz that involves visitors looking for clues about developments that have taken place over the last 21 years at Park Hall. All children taking part will receive a Park Hall 21st birthday special edition pen and badge.
Richard adds, “It has been wonderful to have visitors back on the farm, and to be able to open our indoor activities at long last will be welcome news for our visitors. We can’t wait!”
Park Hall Farm is open Wednesday to Sunday during term time from 10am until 5pm, and every day in the school holidays. For more information visit www.parkhallfarm.co.uk. Children under two years old go free. All tickets must be purchased in advance from the website.
