Christmas came early to a local youth theatre after they teamed up with an Oswestry production company to support an important cause. Their usual performance space was transformed into the set of a Christmas film that will raise awareness of a vital charity for the coming festive period.

Blood Bikes is a 100% volunteer charity, providing free courier service to the NHS – delivering blood samples, plasma, donated human milk, documents and other items all over the country. So Bitesize Youth Theatre and Rocking Horse Media joined forces to help raise awareness of all that Blood Bikes do this Christmas.

“With limited opportunity for fundraising during the winter months, I like to produce an annual Christmas video to maintain awareness of the free essential service we offer to the NHS,” explains a local rider for Blood Bikes, Phil Hackney.

But this year Phil wanted to take the production values for one special scene up a notch and so he reached out to Bitesize Youth Theatre and Rocking Horse Media. “Our young Bitesize actors loved being involved in this worthwhile project to raise awareness of Blood Bikes and gained valuable screen experience from the super team at Rocking Horse Media,” explains Linda Griffiths from Bitesize.

Phil, on behalf of Blood Bikes, wishes to thank Rocking Horse Media and Bitesize for their tremendous efforts to help raise awareness of the work they do.
