Moreton Hall Nursery is holding a recruitment morning this Saturday 25th July, from 9.30am to 11am, as it prepares to expand from September.

The Nursery, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, announced earlier this month that it is creating around 20 to 25 per cent more places in response to demand from local families, with waiting lists at some entry points now stretching beyond a year. The expansion extends the Babies and Early Years provision, widens places for two to four-year-olds, and includes the creation of new classrooms. Additional staff are needed across the setting to support the growth.

The morning is an informal one. Visitors can look around the Nursery, meet the team, ask questions about the roles and pick up an application form. Tea and coffee will be served, and there is no need to book.

Nursery Manager Nic Perry said: “We would love to meet anyone who is thinking about a career in early years, or who is already working in the sector and looking for their next move. Come and see the setting, meet the people you would be working alongside and ask us anything. It is a lovely place to work and we are looking forward to welcoming new colleagues in September.”

Moreton Hall Nursery cares for children from six months to four years within the grounds of Moreton Hall, a 100-acre campus in Weston Rhyn, near Oswestry. Staff and children make full use of the wider school’s facilities, including the swimming pool, forest school and the Holroyd Community Theatre, alongside specialist teaching in music, dance, French and mini tennis.

Families interested in a place for their child are also invited to the Nursery Open Day on Friday 31st July, more information about this event can be found on the Moreton Hall website.

The recruitment morning takes place at Moreton Hall Nursery, Weston Rhyn, Oswestry SY11 3EW. Please arrive via the main entrance off the A5. For more information, contact the Nursery on 01691 776063 or nursery@moretonhall.com.
