Nightingale House Hospice is proud to celebrate ten years of partnership with leading financial services firm, The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), marking a decade of shared values, community spirit and meaningful impact for patients and families across North East Wales.
Since the partnership began, DTCC has played a vital role in supporting the hospice’s continued development and modernisation. Their generous support has helped fund key projects, including sponsorship of one of the hospice’s twelve named patient rooms, the Sunflower Room, as well as contributions towards the new atrium and significant improvements to the Wellbeing Centre.
Dan Groombridge, Associate Director at DTCC, explained why the organisation has continued to support Nightingale House Hospice over the years:
“DTCC Wrexham staff consistently selected Nightingale House Hospice because their work has been meaningful and relatable to our own personal lives and families. Some DTCC employees had close relatives cared for at the hospice and spoke highly of the support provided.”
Over the last decade, DTCC colleagues have gone above and beyond through fundraising, volunteering and event sponsorship, from wrapping Christmas gifts and taking part in sponsored challenges to abseiling for charity. Together, their efforts have raised more than £127,000 to support hospice care.
Kara Lindsey, Corporate Partnerships Officer at Nightingale House Hospice, said:
“We are incredibly grateful to DTCC for their continued commitment and generosity over the past ten years. Their support has made a real difference to our hospice environment and, most importantly, to the patients and families who rely on our care. Partnerships like this are built on trust, shared values and genuine employee engagement, and DTCC exemplifies all of these.”
As Nightingale House Hospice celebrates this milestone, the charity looks forward to building on its strong relationship with DTCC while also working with new and existing corporate partners. These partnerships are essential in helping the hospice grow, innovate and continue to provide outstanding care to those who need it most.
