The British Olympic athlete, sprinter, sports coach and renowned Olympic speaker MBE Darren Campbell will be speaking at The Marches Festival of Education on Thursday 29th June.

As an Olympic speaker Darren Campbell is engaging and passionate and his experience as both an Olympic athlete and training coach leave him in an excellent position to inspire students, particularly those interested in sports.

His participation in the British Olympic relay team helped to make them one of the most successful teams in British history and, with Campbell as part of the team, they won a gold medal at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.

Alongside his success as an athlete and as an Olympic speaker Darren Campbell was awarded an MBE in 2005.

Alongside his work on television, Campbell has also been the sprint coach at London Wasps for the past two years, but has worked at a number of Premier League football clubs including Chelsea. Additionally, Campbell was also part of the coaching team that helped Cardiff City gain promotion to the Premier League.
