Open Space Studio CIC, based in Oswestry, has successfully supported over 100 local families during the Christmas period, providing essential items to help ease financial pressures during the festive season.

The initiative delivered a wide range of donations, including clothing, blankets, earmuffs, hot water bottles, food, hygiene products, and baby bundles containing formula, nappies, wipes, and blankets. The project was developed in response to the ongoing cost of living crisis, aiming to reduce financial strain and support families during a challenging time of year.

By offering practical assistance, Open Space Studio CIC helped families stay warm and feel supported throughout the winter months. The impact of the project has been significant, particularly for families with young children.

Following the success of the Christmas initiative, Open Space Studio CIC has secured additional funding to continue its support over the Easter period. The next phase of the project will provide clothing for young people, baby essentials, and £30 food vouchers to 50 families within the local community.

The organisation has expressed its gratitude for the funding, highlighting the importance of being able to continue supporting families during key holiday periods. The positive response from the community has reinforced the value of the initiative and its meaningful impact.
