Nightingale House Hospice has announced that this year’s Oswestry Balloon Carnival raised more than £40,000 to support local patients and their families.

Held within  Cae Glas Park, the popular event brought another memorable weekend of fun, excitement and entertainment to the heart of Oswestry.

The hospice has expressed its heartfelt thanks to Oswestry Town Council and Oswestry BID for their continued support in helping to deliver such a high-quality community event.

The incredible £40,000 raised will make a real difference to patients and their families accessing the services provided by Nightingale House Hospice. The funds will help the hospice continue supporting people to live well and with dignity and compassion when they need it most.

A spokesperson for Nightingale House Hospice said: “We are absolutely thrilled that this year’s Oswestry Balloon Carnival raised more than £40,000.

“This is a staggering amount, and we could not have achieved it without the continued generosity and support of Oswestry Town Council, Oswestry BID and everyone who helped to make the event possible.

“We hope everyone involved will take a moment to celebrate this incredible achievement and the difference it will make to our patients and their families.”

Nightingale House Hospice has thanked all those who supported, attended and contributed to another successful Oswestry Balloon Carnival.
