Oswestry Junior Netball Club is delighted that their Blue Dolphins team ran out U14 Runners Up at the Shropshire Netball Leagues Tournament at Church Stretton School last weekend (23rd June).

The Church Stretton Tournament is an end of season event held annually after the Shropshire Junior Netball League has finished and as training ends for the season.

Clubs from all over Shropshire take part and with its ‘end of term’ feel it is a fun way to bring the season to a close although it has seen all types of weather from blazing sun to torrential rain over the years!

This year the weather was kindish and all the teams could enjoy their day.

Oswestry Junior Netball Club’s Head Coach Sian Roberts said: “It is always a good day of fun that the girls really enjoy.  I am please that Blue Dolphins did so well in their group and hope that that can keep it up when we return to training in September.”

Oswestry Junior Netball Club train at Oswestry Leisure Centre from U11 – U16 age groups from September until the end of May.
