Oswestry Life magazine to launch 2020 Hope House Calendar

A beautiful calendar for 2020 is set to raise much needed funds for Hope House and Ty Gobaith this Christmas, thanks to the generosity of a talented Oswestry photographer and local businesses.

Graham Mitchell who is the Oswestry Life magazine photographer, has chosen 12 of his stunning scenes in and around Oswestry for the high-quality calendar.  The calendar comes out in October, making it an ideal Christmas present for family and friends, both here and abroad.

With the help of loyal Oswestry Life advertisers who have covered the printing costs, it has enabled every penny of the £5 cover price to go directly in helping local children and their families who depend on vital care from Hope House and Ty Gobaith.

Joint Managing Director, David Lee-Birch of DTS Media Limited said: "We are overwhelmed by the success of our titles, our Oswestry Life title which was only launched in March 2017 has fast become Oswestry's number one publication and we wanted to celebrate by giving something back to a local charity".

"We are very privileged to have such a prestigious local photographer, Graham Mitchell working alongside our brand, supporting the Oswestry Life magazine both in print and daily on our social media channels, therefore we will be showcasing Grahams photographs, capturing the local beauty we have on our door step within our beautiful glossy 2020 calendar launching soon.  All proceeds from the sale of the calendar (£5.00) will go direct to Hope House"

"We would like to thank our loyal advertisers who have sponsored the printing, Graham Mitchell for allowing us to produce these fabulous photographs. Paul Seager of Paul Seager Creative Design for volunteering his time and expertise in making this exciting project possible."

Hope House Fundraising Team Leader, Lynsey Kilvert said: "We are so grateful that the Oswestry Life magazine have chosen Hope House as their charity".  "Oswestry Life are tremendous supporters of Hope House and we are proud to be associated with such a fantastic local publication".
