The Oswestry Life magazine is the latest organisation to pledge their support to a forthcoming 36 hour campaign to raise an incredible £500,000 to local charity Hope House Children’s Hospice.

A group of incredible supporters have already pledged to match all donations received during the campaign up to £250,000 and organisers now need the help of our wonderful readers and digital audience to unlock this cash and reach their goal.

Lynsey Kilvert, Hope House Fundraising Team Leader said: “Today we have launched an exciting campaign that we will be running over 36 hours in November (10am Sunday 21st until 10pm on Monday 22nd) – Final Moments Matter

To give children and families Final Moments that Matter in 2022 we need to raise £500,000 – the annual cost of providing the best end of life care for every child and family in this region who turns to us.  To do this we are asking our community to come together as one, to embrace local families whose hearts are breaking and make sure they are not isolated in their pain and grief.  This is the biggest fundraising target we have ever set ourselves.”

“A group of incredible supporters have pledged to match all donations received during the campaign up to £250,000 and we are reaching out to the wonderful readers and digital audience of the Oswestry Life magazine to  help unlock this cash and reach our goal.    We are delighted that Oswestry Life will be at the centre of this vital fundraising campaign – sharing our stories and spreading the word.   Thanks to our pledgers every pound raised or donated during the 36 hour Final Moments Matter campaign will be doubled.”

DTS Media Joint Managing Director, David Lee-Birch said: We are delighted to get involved with this incredible 36 hour campaign. £500,000 will make such a difference to this local charity and we are proud to pledge our support behind the Oswestry Life brand.”

Lynsey added:  “We are so grateful to the support from the Oswestry Life magazine who are tremendous supporters of Hope House.  We are proud to be associated with such a fantastic local publication,”
