An Oswestry and Wrexham law firm is sitting in prime position next to “GO”, to support a new promotional Monopoly board created especially for Nightingale House Hospice.
GHP Legal set up its Wrexham office in 1970 and has supported Nightingale House since its inception there 25 years later.
In a unique collaborative promotion project, Nightingale House developed the Wrexham Monopoly board, which will be launched on Friday 26th June, in partnership with Hasbro.
Replacing famous London landmarks on the original Monopoly board, local Wrexham businesses and landmarks feature on this limited-edition board, with all profits from sales going to Nightingale House.
More than 30 local businesses and organisations have sponsored squares on the board. 4,000 boards are available, at £38 each.
Following the Wrexham Monopoly board launch will be a 2-day promotional ‘grand tour’ roadshow, with visits to various local businesses and landmarks featured. The game will be available to purchase at pop-up shops throughout the roadshow, or online at nightingalehouse.myshopify.com
The roadshow will start with a pop-up shop at Wrexham Lager from 10:30am to 12:30pm on Friday 26th June. From there it will head to Hotel Wrexham, The Turf, Wrexham AFC, Wrexham Miners and Wrexham University, for a series of photo opportunities, and finish with a second pop-up shop at Stori Brymbo from 7pm to 9pm.
On Saturday 27th June, the tour begins at Xplore Science, followed by a pop-up shop at the Wrexham AFC Club Shop at Eagles Meadow from 10am to 12:20pm. It will then travel on to St Giles’ Parish Church and Vault 33 for further photo opportunities, before concluding at the Nightingale House Regent Street shop with a final pop-up shop from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
