Oswestry’s businesswoman Vicki Wilson, founder of Vicki Admin Fairy®, has been named Inspirational Virtual Assistant of the Year 2025 at the prestigious UK VA Awards, held during the VA Conference in Bournemouth.
After being made redundant in 2020, Vicki turned a setback into opportunity by launching her own virtual assistant business from her home in Oswestry. What began with one small client has since grown into a thriving, multi-award-winning business supporting entrepreneurs and small business owners nationwide.
Vicki lives with cerebral palsy, which affects her mobility, but she has built her business while challenging perceptions around disability and entrepreneurship. She hopes this award will inspire others to believe that with resilience, determination, and a little self-belief, anything is possible.
“Winning Inspirational Virtual Assistant 2025 means the world to me,” said Vicki. “I want every disabled person with a dream to know that if you believe in yourself and take that first step, you really can achieve incredible things. My disability doesn’t define me. It drives me.”
Vicki is also the creator of the Confidence & Clarity Pack, a collection of practical and motivational resources designed to help new and established Virtual Assistants build confidence, find clarity, and grow their businesses with purpose. The pack includes guides, templates, and her published book, Confidence & Clarity: The VA Companion, which is available on Amazon:
