Vicki Wilson, founder of Vicki Admin Fairy®, has been named Highly Commended Virtual Assistant of the Year 2025 at the West Midlands PA Forum Awards, held at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham on Friday, 11th July 2025.
Vicki from Weston Rhyn, runs her award-winning virtual assistant business from her home, supporting clients from all over the UK with any aspect of admin — from email and diary management to social media scheduling, CRM set-up, digital systems, and even trademark applications. Her flexible and approachable style has made her a trusted right-hand woman to entrepreneurs, tradespeople, coaches and creatives alike.
“To be recognised in such a competitive category, alongside so many brilliant professionals, is something I’ll never forget,” said Vicki. “I built Vicki Admin Fairy® from my living room following redundancy from HMRC. I started with one small client who needed a few social media posts a week, and now I support 15 businesses with all sorts of admin tasks. This award is a thank you to them for trusting me.”
What makes Vicki’s business stand out isn’t just the range of services she offers — it’s the heart, honesty and empathy she brings to her work. As a disabled entrepreneur, she has built her business around inclusivity and understanding. She works closely with other disabled and neurodivergent business owners, tailoring her services to fit their work style, not the other way around.
The awards judges were full of praise for her integrity, innovation, and lasting client impact:
“Vicki Wilson is a brilliant example of balance and brilliance in the VA profession. With four years of experience under her belt, she runs her business with precision and personality. Her client base speaks volumes – diverse, loyal and full of glowing testimonials.”
“Vicki has developed a unique niche supporting neurodiverse clients, and her empathetic, knowledgeable approach is what makes her a standout. Whether she’s networking, creating content or running complex client projects, Vicki brings her full self to the table with strategy, confidence and a whole lot of heart.”
One of her clients, who runs a trade business without access to a computer, explained just how important her support is:
“Vicki handles everything for me — invoicing, bookings, paperwork — and makes life so much easier. I wouldn’t manage without her.”
The West Midlands PA Forum Awards are one of the biggest events celebrating excellence in the executive support and virtual assistance industry. With hundreds of entries judged by a panel of senior professionals, the awards highlight those who go above and beyond to help businesses succeed behind the scenes.
This latest recognition joins a growing list of accolades for Vicki, who has previously been celebrated in the UK VA Awards, the Strategic PA Awards, and was chosen as a winner by Theo Paphitis in his popular #SBS Small Business Sunday campaign.
When she’s not working on client projects, Vicki gives back to the community by mentoring fellow virtual assistants, contributing to disability-led networking groups, and encouraging others to embrace flexible, meaningful self-employment.
And there’s more to come…
Never one to sit still, Vicki is preparing to launch an exciting new service designed specifically for solopreneurs and small business owners. The upcoming offer will focus on helping time-strapped business owners streamline their systems, stay organised, and free up more headspace to grow — all with Vicki Admin Fairy®’s signature flexible, down-to-earth support.
