Packwood Haugh School’s fallen in WWI numbered 23 and every year the school remembers them.

This year their names were read at school and at the village Church.   A Centenary Copse was also planted in their memory in 2014.

More details of their lives and deaths are available on the school website.

This year’s concert, school remembrance and Church service included ‘Anthem for Doomed Youth’ (Wilfred Owen) set to music by one of our teachers, Mrs Besterman (pictured below conducting the choir).
