Qube’s Photography exhibition for 2023 is now open. Following on from last year’s exhibition on Identity, the theme for 2023 is “Love Oswestry; Love Where You Live”, in collaboration with the Love Oswestry Festival. There are forty artworks from fifteen local artists, celebrating Oswestry and its beautiful surroundings.
Qube’s Art and Creativity Officer, Gemma Manning-Bentley says “We are absolutely thrilled with the quality of the work that has been submitted, it really shows what a beautiful area we live in! There is such a wealth of talent locally, and I’m so pleased that they have been so inspired by the theme”
There is a £100 judges choice prize, chosen by a panel of three independent people. There is also a people’s choice prize – visitors are encouraged to chose their favourite artwork from the exhibition and have the opportunity to vote, the winner will receive £20. The under-16 judge’s choice prize is a hamper of art materials.
This free photography exhibition runs from 16th February to 3rd April.
