On Thursday 21st September, The Marches School opened its doors to a record number of prospective students and their families. The evening involved an abundance of interactive activities, live music and talks from the Associate Headteacher. Students spent the evening exploring the wide range of facilities and course subjects on offer as they journeyed through the various departments.
The evening was a great success with nearly 200 prospective pupils plus their families attending.
Associate Headteacher, Mrs Alison Pearson, commented, “We are always proud to showcase all we do here and welcome the opportunity for staff to be able to speak with passion about life here with parents and the community. The school was very busy with an excellent atmosphere all evening with Chemistry shows, Drama performances and the Planetarium all in action.”
Primary school pupils attended the evening from across Shropshire, Powys and Wrexham, indicating that the school’s popularity is continuing to grow both locally and further afield.
