Oswestry residents are being invited to the Annual Town Meeting on 5 March.
The theme of this year’s meeting is reflection and forward thinking. The Town Clerk will provide an overview of the work of the council and guest speakers will provide updates on key projects in Oswestry including Llwyd Mansion renovation and future use, Oswestry in Bloom plans for 2025 and The Centre.
Representatives from Oswestry Sports Forum will also talk about their work and of the issues and challenges facing local sporting organisations.
This is not a council meeting but a meeting for the community to hear about what is happening in the town and ask questions. Everyone is welcome to come along.
The meeting takes place at the Guildhall at Bailey Head on Wednesday 5 March at 6pm.
Before the meeting, from 4.45-5.45pm, the Town Clerk will host a drop-in session for anyone who is considering standing for election to the town council. This is an opportunity to ask questions about the work of the council and the role of councillors.
