Thirteen-year-old Zennor Harvey from Packwood Haugh School in Ruyton XI Towns led her team to victory in a two-day event at Princethorpe College in Warwickshire during the recent half-term holiday.

Head of Riding at Packwood, Jenny Wall, reports, “The first day of the competition began with dressage which tests the horse and rider’s skill and poise. Zennor put in an excellent performance, winning the trophy for the best dressage test.

“Day one finished with show jumping rounds in the arena before competitors tackled steeplechase fences and a cross-country course on the second day.

“Zennor held her lead throughout so helping her team to overall victory in the 90cm category. Packwood’s other team were not far behind, scooping the 80cm runners-up spot.”
