Just over 19 years ago, Claire Morris was at her lowest point. After receiving fertility treatment and finally having a beautiful baby boy, you’d think she’d have been happy. But her weight was spiralling out of control and having tried everything to lose it on her own, she plucked up the courage to join Slimming World. She found that she could still eat all her favourite foods with the Food Optimising plan but just cooking them in a different way and having a support network to help her learn new habits around food.

She started to become more active too, with Slimming Worlds unique activity programme and has since gone on to run marathons and climb mountains, including Rainbow Mountain in Peru.

In 2012, after losing 8 stone, Claire became a Slimming World consultant and has been running successful groups since, helping members change their lives forever. She says it’s humbling to watch these members grow in confidence and see them changing lifelong habits to healthy new ones.

If you’d love to lose weight in a healthy and sustainable way, Claire’s groups are in the Eastern Oswestry Community Centre, Cabin Lane on Thursdays (from January 8th) at 5.30pm and 7pm, Fridays at 9am and 10.30am and Saturdays at 7.30am, 9am and 10.30am.
