Festival Square was transformed into a bustling seaside scene during the May Bank Holiday Weekend as The Beach returned to town.
Organised by Oswestry BID (Business Improvement District), this marked the fourth year of the popular attraction, with families flocking to enjoy seventeen tonnes of premium sand complete with buckets and spades, framed by traditional deckchairs and accompanied by authentic seaside sounds of waves and calling seagulls.
BID Manager, Adele Nightingale, was thrilled with the event’s success and positive feedback, and thanked all the families who came along to enjoy the seaside experience in the heart of Oswestry. She went on to thank all the local businesses who participated in the event, and the dedicated Yellow Bus team and Valley Security for their exceptional efforts.
