Since qualifying in 2002, Claire Arnold has worked in the Shropshire/Mid Wales Borders within a number of clinics (Health Focus Welshpool, The Osteopathic Health Centre Chester, The Osteopathic Clinic Gresford and The Natural Health Centre Shrewsbury) gaining a reputation for compassionate, empathic Osteopathic care.

After the birth of her daughter 6yrs ago, she decided to start her own venture closer to home in Oswestry and The Meadows Osteopath Clinic was born! Specialising in the treatment of womens’ health, pregnancy, babies and children, Claire has built a thriving business with the support of loyal patients, local businesses (Cafe Life at The Whole Life Centre Cabin Lane, Baby Bird and Gina.Design) local support groups (Oswestry Breastfeeding Support Group) and networking groups such as Bizmums. When her son was born 4yrs ago it was time to build the clinic further and the business has grown steadily since. To celebrate this patients and businesses have been invited to an afternoon tea party to say thank you for all the support.

At the beginning of 2019 the family discovered that husband Greg had Kidney Cancer and this sparked a new direction for them all including The Meadows. Claire set out on a personal challenge to improve her own health and fitness whilst raising funds for Kidney Cancer UK and has taken part in at least one sporting event every month since the summer including the Oswestry Colour Run, Oswestry Girls on the Run 10k, Shropshire Triathlon, the recent Oswestry 10k and The Chirk Castle 4k Dark Run which the children also successfully completed. There are two more events to go this year a 5 mile trail run in November and the 5k Santa Run organised by local man Jody Wilson which the children are taking part in too.  Donations can be made via the JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/claire-arnold11

Greg is now well and awaiting the spinal surgery that prompted the investigations earlier in the year so not quite out of the woods yet.

Claire is now studying for a Lifestyle Medicine Diploma and is about to launch ‘Optimally Healthy Mums’ to provide support to mums that have been rock bottom and are looking to make changes to their lifestyle to help them improve their health.
